The
logo was intended to be a simple identity that would be recognisable by
the children and their parents. An inverted rainbow created the smile and bespoke lettering for the name.
A big inspiration for the colours and design approach were the
children’s educational books (mainly Ladybird) from my
childhood – simple, brightly coloured and beautiful. |

A3 Poster - The first piece of design to make use of the
illustrative potential of the logo. Each smile represented a child
joining the nursery. |

Giggles Handbook - Outside
Cover
The brief from the start was to create a handbook that could be easily
updated. If one section changed, the whole thing would not
need
to be reprinted.

Giggles Handbook - Inside of
the folder, containing 26 cards.
|
|
The handbook was dual purpose. It was primarily for supplying
information about the nursery to parents, and doubling up as an
educational tool. The back of each card is a silhouette of a familiar
object/animal, from 'apple' to 'zebra crossing'. |

The outside signage continued the branding using the three Giggles colours. |
